I am Victoria Pope, a PhD student in the department of Animal and Plant Sciences at the University of Sheffield. Welcome to my website.
My project title is "Getting to the root of the problem: how plants drive the carbon dynamics of Arctic ecosystems". In summary, I am studying the allocation of carbon to roots, root productivity and turnover, and linking these processes to above ground variables which can be more easily assessed by remote sensing (e.g. satellites).
I hope you can find any information you need by following the links on the left. If there is something I have omitted, please feel free to get in touch using the contact details provided.
