|Welcome to my website. These pages are here to provide an overview of my Ph.D. research.
Using insect models, I am looking at the role of internally located
bacteria in determining disease outcomes for the larger organisms that
they inhabit. This research has broad relevance to understanding
patterns of human and wildlife disease, and in identifying new methods
of disease control.
This research is being carried out in the Evolutionary Ecological
Entomology (E3) lab at Sheffield University. The project is being
supervised by Professor Mike Siva-Jothy. This research will take three
years to complete and is being funded by the Natural Environment Research Council (NERC). If you would like any
more information then please contact me firstname.lastname@example.org .
